I'd say 24V torque figures will be pretty much the same as the 12V ones as teh block is the same. Not much help if you don't know those either of course!! I can help with these anyway if you need them.
Re the rear main cap, there used to be some nasty rubber 'cigarette' seals for that, but later revisions just use a silicone sealant. Basically, when you fit the rear main cap, smear a bit of sealant onto the jointing faces and asssemble, then inject sealant into the deep holes created by the semi-circular machinings in block/cap until it squibs out. Leave a bit sticking out the top when you're done then ideally assemble the sump, or if you have to leave it until later, you can trim off the excess and glue the sump on later - no gasket on the sump anymore either (if there ever was on the 24V).
As you can probably tell, I've only ever worked on the 12V.
Cam-timing - you'll need a set of camlocks for that on the 24V. About £45 for a set.
Replace the oil pump too.
