I cheated with the CV boots, got the glue together ones, was a pretty simple job if you take your time, and they were only £18 for the kit!
Your'e my kinda man ,Dan...Sticky boots..I like it.
So get yer vote on the sticky boot poll unless you have already done so.....I am afraid I got my sticky boots around £3 or £4 each...An ebay voucher absorbed the rest.
I am afraid I will go stretchy boots this time (£4 each including NEW grease and clips)as I am gonna have to dismantle the NSF swinging arm for spring and arm need doing as well as outer boot ,but as all will be oot Ill do the lot...Mot in feb needs must.
On my way to Motherwell this mornin an audi tt or somethin like that .It had 4 tail lights and one shone brighter than the rest....When I drove alongside I attracted the drivers attention and asked if they had their fog lights on....No came the reply...so I advised .."Well some clown has fitted the wrong wattage bulb to your side lights...a knowing polis could do you"
I never did anyone for a failure BUT wiring up wrongly
So I got oot the car at the VX garage and the wife says "Do you know one of your lights isnt working at the back".....So much for the all singing and dancing Alfa bulb oot warning light.
When I checked it was the one I always had to tap at MOT testing time.....BUT had bought 2 spare bulb sets at the Tesco sale...and guess what 2 identical bulbs one 5w and 1 10 w...as it was a 5 that came oot a 5 went in....unlike the blind bat that did the audi's
I think ,personally, that the holes in the discs would make the disc rust and wear quicker.
