Re: 164 spark plugs - the best ones ?
I got these fancy spark plugs from Alfa Romeo for my 3l v6 12v, and I can honestly say I was amazed at the difference it made. They had four contacts around the outside of the central spark bit. The idea being that the spark was always at the same place in the centre of the plug, rather than jumping about a bit with just one contact. They had gold bits on the end, but were really cheap and should last 2 or 3 times longer than budget plugs.
I don't know if the science is correct, but I can say that it was the most noticable performance improvement I ever got. They were a really old brand, not sure if they are still being made, but they were specific for Alfa V6 engines. My local AR dealer had a load left in stock and sold me them for a ridiculously low price. They lasted a long time, loads better than NGK which I had thought were good until then!

Look for the 4 contacts, and gold or similar coating on the tips of them sort of like that from above!! Have no idea about the twin spark.
