my skirts falling down!!

My beautiful 166 is an import model and has the full factory body kit. So far so good. Looks fantastic - howeverrrrrrrr....... the little plastic clips that hold the skirts to the under-sill body work are gradually breaking up - anyone know where I can get replacements or modify the method of support - plastic may well be great in the warmth of Italy but in damp cold Essex they have become very brittle!.
I'm off to my wonderful (sic!) local Alfa dealer today to have a punt at seeing if they can source new clips - to keep in the spirit of Christmas - 'was that a turkey that just flew by my window?'
Perhaps I'm being too pessimistic, I'll update this post once I've been.
The car has been lowered 50mm (part of the original import work and I must admit to the skirts 'kissing' road humps every once in a while so perhaps I shouldn't blame the Italians for the quality of the clips.
Fantastic car, holds the road like glue, yes It does do an indicated 155 miles per hour and looks a million dollars.

Re: my skirts falling down!!

Prior to fitting my Zender bodykit I simply ordered two sets of new clips from Monza sport. You need 8 for each side. The whole lot came to approx £20 including VAT. You should be able to get them from any main stealer with a chassis no. etc. Good luck. Nice looking 166!
