Familiar names & Stainless exhaust

It's not a surprise but lots of familiar names on here from my Cloverleaf Forum days (Puntodan ,MikeM) - Good to see so many people still keeping with the faith!!

On a different note , having done some local research into exhausts I have found a local stainless manufacturer that will fit me a cat-back stainless twin tailpipe system for 300!!Going to get it done next few days and will report back on quality and sound! Not gone for anything lairy ,just something with a bit more burble to it on idle and wider throttle openings.

When I have cleaned it I will put some pictures up ,its in pretty good condition for an older example (T reg) and has been well looked after by its previous (since 2000) owner .Even had the Cambelt done at 72000!Cant remember the previous owners name ,but if the previous owner of T454EHY is on here ,I have your old car and would welcome anything you can tell me about it!

Re: Familiar names & Stainless exhaust

Yes I am here I too have a T plate 3.0 Sportronic and love it! Had a break after my cloverleaf died but couldn't resist and the 166 seemed like the next and more available step up really!

I had to get my middle and rear sections replaced and used powerflow for mine and it has been spot on so far, nice burble when warm on idle and quiet as a mouse on full throttle so you can hear the V6 sing! 240 i paid for mine and will probably look at the front section being done soon!

Remus back box and local custom made middle section-all s/steel on mine.
Has a pleasant thrum rather than a burble.
Snorts on full throttle
