One of the advantages of the 166 system is that you can add a device called a "Loudlink" which is an SD card reader which lives in the boot that plugs into the system instead of the 6CD multi-changer, this then gives you control of up to 600 MP3 tracks. Costs about €160.
I have upgraded my DSP system with a 500W Kenwood amp with 2 Pioneer TS-SW841D 8" subwoofers in the boot instead of the 2 DSP midrange speakers in the rear shelf.
Sounds quite good, and you still have the ability via the DSP to alter the position of the sound-stage, and also to select Hi-Fi, Classic or Rock sound effects.
