164 QV 12v engine mounts

Hi All,

Iím looking at replacing the engine mounts on my 164 QV 12v.

I have already replaced the top steady bar bushes using super pro bushes.

Has anyone attempted to replace the engine mounts themselves? Also has anyone tried the powerflex bushes or similar?

Would appreciate any input/advice

Many thanks,

Re: 164 QV 12v engine mounts

I changed my front hydraulic mounting and the mounting near the steering pump and it made a massive difference to the cars ride and driving Its a tight squeeze and you need to lower the crossmember but its well worth the effort. A usefull tip is to shorten the length of the mounting upper bolt as its far too long and its easier to fit when reduced by about ten mill
