The engine rattles but my wife assures me there was no smoke belching out the rear!
Once on the go the engine has a fair sound and the old turbo kick is nice to feel again.
It goes way fast and the torque makes it extremely driveable - 70mph in 6th is 2k revs, pick up is immense with no need to change gear.
Styling is the Brera thing - frameless door glass (I have wanted a car with that since I was 17 - Finally got one!), quad exhausts, chunky designer styling, tripple headlights, sky glass roof, brushed aluminium, etc, etc.
I still have to read the book and see what everything does - The new range of Alfas has moved on a bit with some nice additions such as dual zone climate control, climate controlled armrest box - keeps a hot drink hot, a cold drink cold (clever), automatic lights, reversing sensors etc. I note that the auto dip mirror has gone, headlight washer gone and my seats only have electric back rests - The upgrade options are available but now at a prety penny!
The journey home was enjoyable and easy - Best bit was 40mpg!
