Busy w/end = QV-Q2
It's taken some planning and doing over the last few months, but the result is worthwhile...
Completely rebuilt engine from my old @leaf, with new clutch, oil pump, reground crank, "total seal" rings, CB cams, new belts, and the icing on the cake a Q2 diff! how brill is that?
Spent Saturday taking engine out of my daily 'leaf, and swapping bits, finish building up the new motor, and all day Sunday sorting a couple of problems, fitting the engine, hooking it all up.
Just been around the block to try it out (nearly 30 miles) and it feels good, got to take it steady so haven't felt the full benefit of the diff but first impressions are excellent.
Thanks must also go to Dave & Kirt at Engine Services for all their help, and Rob for giving me a hand over the weekend.
