Yes, I'm a bit confused too. The Xenon light provides both dipped and high beam, then?
My 166 doesn't have Xenons, so the outer part with the round lens is dipped beam, and the inner part without a lens is high beam.
I imagine that the 'signalling lights' would be required for the headlamp flash because the Xenon units wouldn't be able to turn on/turn off quickly enough.
So, your yellowish light is just caused by the sidelights? I think if you replace these with LED bulbs, you will get the white light you want.
