True about that radweld,it can and will block up your waterways,
there is no way I would use it in the 166,because the radiator
design is so weak,virtually every high mileage one you come across
suffers from collapsed fins behind the fan ,causing hot running in
slow moving traffic,the last thing you want is something that restricts
the flow,change the rad!
They are not expensive ,circa £150. max for a genuine Valeo one.
By the way I know of many instance where the old 2.5 peugeot diesel
engine(alloy head and block),where the rad. was bodged with radweld
leading to the engine overheating and being ruined,at least £1500
for the sake of a radiator.FALSE ECONOMY!!!
