Heated seats do have a thermostatic control, but propably not in the switch itself. Propably it is integrated into heating mats. I also don't think that those switches are supposed to pop out when a certain temperature is reached, rather the circut should be interrupted by some thermal control element. I dismatled both of the switches, when trying to make my seats work, I did cleaned them, checked with a mulimeter, but seats still remain "cold". Maybe You should try to clean them too? Poping out could be caused by "sticked", quite stupid, mechanism inside. If You will be carefull enough when dismantling I'am quite sure this will solve Your case.
Btw. those switches are quite expensive if You plan to get them from the dealer's.
