Loudlink issues...

I wonder if anyone is having the same issues as me? I've put an 8gb SD-HC card in mine and I find that when skipping the next track starts, fades out, in again and continues. The only other SD card I have are the micro ones in carriers and it's the same with them.

Also sometimes when I turn off the engine and remove the key, the Loudlink continues! I'm sure I never had that with the CD changer.

I'm wondering if I have a faulty one and/or there's more problems to come...

And lastly, I have the SATNAV and DSP, I've removed the CD-changer to get access to the Loudlink and cables, but it looks ugly, anyone cobbled something up for easy access to the SD card slot and looks nice? A nice coverplate?

never had any issues with the loudlink, if you switch the car off and the loudlin k keeps going it sounds more like the ICS is at fault

I disconnected the cable, pulled it to right, put all the panels back, and put the loudlink unit on the flat panel beside the wheelarch cover.

I get the fade out / in thing on mine occasionally. Just living with it. Not had it stay on without the key in ignition though...

Re: Loudlink issues...

As Klapan has done I did the same - I bought some sticky back Velcro for the LoudLink and stuck it to the carpet material in the boot beside the tyre well - SD card to the top so I can swap. Never tried 8GB SDHC - no similar issues with 2Gb and 4Gb SD. Do you have the latest firmware file on the root of the SD card?
