ive just bought a set of the wheels that go with that bodykit, not the bodykit though, doesnt suit the car imo.

Partsworld,I notice that this is on a buy it now,when I bid for any
item off this firm for my original t/s,I was always trotted up by a mystery buyer with no feedback,given 2nd. chance offers when
they had lost my bids and always had sensible offers turned down.
VERY GREEDY I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!!!

at what happened to Niall,they want top money for everything.
I too noticed the 2 cd players,strangely enough I had to buy one
off the net from an excellent breaker,who sent it by return of post
fully tested and in perfect condition,for a very reasonable price,my cd player in the TI had been damaged by previous heavy handling ,the
magazine jammed and wouldn't eject,not uncommon on these,
The garage I bought the car off are only prepared to pay half
the cost,ludicrous when you think the car is still under warranty,however we are only talking £95,so it is not worth falling
out with them,because with my last car any remedial work was
carried out promptly without charge and a decent courtesy car
thrown in ,so sometimes you have to take the broader view,
however I don't think everyone would have been as forebearing as me!

I have bought from partsworld before with no problem - They have accepted my best offers. Maybe you guys are being too cheap!

Actually, i've bought before from them and they were fine although i do seem to remember they were fairly pricey....

I am afraid I have NOT had such a fortunate experiance with
partsworld,about 4yrs. ago they bought a lot of 166 parts
and accsesories off main dealers,I will be quite specific here,on
several occasions I attempted to buy some alfa headlamp protectors
which retail at around £40.00(invaluable to stop those pricey and
hard to fit h/lamps getting smashed)
Anyway they were at a starting bid of a very reasonable £15.00,ao I put a maximun bid in of £25.00 which I thought was fair.
Guess what a mystery bidder trotted me up,I went to £30.00,
still the bidding went higher ,supposed to be sold,of course when I went to check on any feedback naturally there wasn't any.
Next week there they were there relisted,bid again ,exactly the same
the same bidder,and of course he won the item again.
I should add I buy and sell a lot of items on Ebay,and I very rarely
have to crticise a seller,I have had many great deals,but I will not
tolerate being trotted up ,and taken for a mug!
On other occasions partsworld has used this bogus bidder to try
and extract a higher price off me.If that is the case might just as well
buy the parts off a main dealer.
However not all Ebayers are the same ,a week ago I bought a brand
new boot lock assembly for only £16.00,and this week a mint CD
player for a very reasonable £170.00
I rest my case.

Bad tatics there - Not a good experience as you say. Did you report them to ebay?

Partsworld ARE a main dealer, and I have dealt with them by ebay & find them brilliant & reasonable and always technically helpful.

If you use them as a service etc place, they are appalingly bad.

Yes you are right Howard I seem to remember them as Alfa dealers,
didn't realise they still were,I am glad to hear you got good service
from their parts.dept,but of course it doesn't mean that their Ebay
operation is run in a proper manner,I think a minority of suppliers
think that Ebay is a market place full of mug punters that can be
fleeced to make a quick buck,shop around carefully on Ebay and
there are some great bargains,in my experience never bid for an item
where there has been no previous interest ,and suddenly you receive
an outbid notice,invariably you are being trotted up ,stop bidding the
listing ends and lo and behold,what do you receive a 2nd.chance
offer!!
the excuse(the buyer could not complete the sale),utter tosh
and a disgraceful way of doing business!
