Wave Parking Sensor for alfa 166

Good morning, I have an Alfa Romeo 166, 2.4JTD, I bought a sensor of parking, I liked to know where it is the best location to apply in the car the four bounper por the back.

I had one with sensors and they were fitted lower down as in your
second picture,worked very well I have to say.

Were they an optional extra for the 166 then, quite fancy them myself but not sure of the quality of the ones you see advertised, anyone got any fitted they could recommend ?

They were a rare optional extra,there are some very good after
market systems from about £70-£120,depending on spec(not the
cheap chinese rubbish all over Ebay,however I do not relish drilling
my back bumper,would prefer to have them fitted,my last one had
sensors,very useful!

They were an official option on the early models and fitted as standard to the Collezione FL (LHD only) version at the end. Mine were fitted when I bought the car and the rears work fine. There's no display, though, only a bleeping. There are also sensors at the front on mine but I don't think they're connected.
