164 TS Rear Wheel Bearing

Hi all

One of my rear wheel bearings is making a right noise - so have looked into replacing it.

Been quoted £345.76 for the bearing as apparently it only comes as a complete hub - does this sound right?!

If it is - then the car is off to the big scrapyard in the sky - I didn't pay that much for the whole car!

ps car is a 1992 Twin Spark with ABS if that helps

Don't know if its the same as the 166.

I've just had a rear wheel bearing on my V6 and I can't remember how much the part was, but including labour it was only about £150.

Shop4parts list front wheel bearings at 34 quid, but doesn't list rears and it says no abs.

£51 from Alfa Workshhop. Doesn't say which one it's for (oh yeah it does, front again), but worth giving them a bell and asking.

You could try EB Spares as well.

Just had a look here. Doesn't look good. That does seem ridiculous though.

Although my V6 has ABS and it definitely did not cost anything like £260 for it. I think you're gonna have to call someone about it.
