steering wheel touch up

my car is in brand new condition...however the steering wheel paint started to peel off...how can i get it renovated without having to replace the whole thing...very $$$...any one?

Steering wheel paint? The 166 wheel is either leather or wood .

Do you mean the leather surface has worn off, you can buy leather repair kits to repair the worn leather - normally for seats but should work perfectly for the steering wheel.

the circular thing is leather ... but the center part that contains the airbag is plastic or rubber...:-(

You sure it hasn't been oversprayed with a plastic paint, that is not keyed to the sub-strata? Strange happening, if it's what you indicate?

I touch up my wheel everyday.... :0
