I don't think that this sticker will help. They are sometimes on a sticker or more often imprinted into the metal itself on the left hand side of the ICS unit (looking from the front) the code is BE2569 (or something like this may be BE 2580) and then a letter and 7 digits.

Re: I think i can crack the ics codes for becker units!!!

Hi Fino,

I'm after the satnav code. I have the following on various labels on my unit. Presumably the serial number is the relevant bit...

156.027.826
MLFB: 5WK 78203
Serial no AR2030011803/02
01011814 SW5.40
*2580L50Y5051541
Typ IDIS
Model No BE 2580
Serial No Y5051541
12 Volt EC: 102
KW: 50/00 65 31 35.20.12

Many thanks in anticipation!

Simon

the satnav code is generated from the serial number of the drive not the ICS....dealer only AFAIK

Re: I think i can crack the ics codes for becker units!!!

Hi Niall,

Have tried various dealers including the one the car was originally bought from, but all useless.
When you say it's on the drive, do you mean the satnav disc drive in the boot?

Thanks,

Simon

yes - you need the serial number from that and they can get the code from alfa....the tricky bit is convincing them that this is the case
