166 Sat Nav Lanaguage disc

Hi All, new to the forum.
On my 2nd 166 (great cars!). 1st was 2.0T.Spark 2000 V, 2nd is a 2.5 v6 6 speed manual 2002 '02 (great improvement over the T.spark).

My problem is that I have retro fitted a G3 nav unit (from a Lancia Lybra, which use the same unit) and wiring loom to my 166. It works great (even with an Opel 2008 nav disk, only £10), but the language is on Italian default and I have no setup disc. So does anybody have or know where I can get a disk to use (as 3 Alfa dealers have been as much use as a chocolate tea pot). Or i'll have to start to learn Italian.

Re: 166 Sat Nav Lanaguage disc

you just need to select the language on the "settings" bit and it reloads the correct prompts....i think all languages are on the one CD. Where did you get the open CD by the way? Did it work "out the box" or did you need to do some fiddlign to get it to work?

Tried lanaguage in "settings", its on english, Alfa say I need the set up disc.
I got the opel cd from ebay (its a backup, but works great), but you need the NCDR/NCDC siemens disc, NOT the CD70.

hmmm - that's strange....i'm pretty sure on mine i just select the different language and it goes away and loads the commands in (gives a warning that i can take some time!).

Don't suppose you know if the opel discs are available for G2 type systems? Would be great if there was a way of getting new maps

Re: 166 Sat Nav Lanaguage disc

could it be that the audio track is only in Italian?
