Re: Irish 166 seekers

I was waiting for 6 months for the right 166 to come up in Ireland (3l Lusso, 2000 or younger, with fsh). I ended up buying one from the UK. Higher spec than any of the eight cars I was test-driving in Ireland.

How do like your 3 litre?I have a 02 2.0 with very low mileage with high spec(no sat nav)but would like to move up.Only a 2005 in Cork that appeals but its big money.Could almost buy the new 3.0 sporronic in London for same.

Re: Irish 166 seekers

I love it! As I said earlier in "my" thread, when I was driving the car the 1st time I was enjoying it so much I actually started to lol in the car. And my wife did the same when we were going around the Nürburgring.
"Böhöm" (my car) has everything (sat nav, phone, heated Momo seats, xenon), the few things missing are the DSP, the sunroof and the parking sensors. I can live without these, however the beautiful sound of the V6 when I accelerate means I usually do only 200-250 miles with a full tank of petrol. But tbh I don't care, I rather drive than smoke/drink/bet etc.

you are what you race

I have the same kit - but I would hate a sunroof - cuts the headroom too much.

DSP - would have liked & parking sensors were a shameful omission on a car with such a beautiful rear end - mine a scuffed bumper when I got it.
