Thanks Mitch166 for you comments about loudlink.
Where it is possible to get a cable and how many it costs?

Re: Alfa 166 CD Changer upgrade

I have a loudlink and have to say it is the best buy right after my alfa!
I didn't have the cable preinstalled(i'm not from UK and the car is from Italy) so i took 1 hour of mine time, found a cable from wrecked alfa, used a guide on how to take out the ics from our forum(http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...ive-guide.html (ICS codes and ICS removal - hopefully a definitive guide!)) and put the cable in and mounted the loudlink under passenger leg rest where there is some plastic covering some other cables (I believe that only early alfa's have that - mine is y. 2000)
I have 2GB SD card whit 6 folders and over 90 songs in each - made my self a small list of songs so I know where is each song.
It orders the songs alphabetically so i used 00, 01, 02, 03... prefixes in front of every song so i have my own order of the songs!
The quality depends on the mp3 that you have!
Great stuff and would recommend to every AR166 owner!

Didn't see this until now. Mine skips, and dials are pointed upwards. Irritating. Perhaps a loudlink will be on my christmas gift list
