166 v6 alloy wheels

well ive just collected the wheels i bought off ebay for my 166 and although they are in significantly better condition than mine, they arent quite as good as i had hoped for from the description on ebay, but for 35 quid for 5 im not complaning

does anyone know of the best place to get alloy wheel paint, im going to touch up some of the scuffs before buying brand spanking new tyres for them. i will be doing a proper job on them, sanding down wet and dry, undercoat, paint and laqueur. ive tried halfrauds but no luck, they dont seem to do anything for alloys,just steel wheels, any ideas?

ps ill be practising on my current alloys do i dont bugger them up, plus as i now have 10 alloys i will use the best 4 for the car

I resprayed the alloys on my t/spark with Hycote grey primer,a
couple of coats of their aluminium paint,and clear laquer and they
looked like new.
I don't know whether Halfrauds stock Hycote paint but is very good
quality,dries very quickly and is sold in large spray cans at a good
price,I get mine from a hardware dealer in Staffordshire for a bargain
£2.00 a can!
