Anyway, Alfa list the part with the connecting leads for over £100 which is ridiculous for a £5 bit.
Anyone advise or know where I can get a second hand one nice and easily!?
Cheers
Almost got same problem - noticed it when changing battery.
Breakers won't take one off for me (they can't be bothered with such a small part & I don't want to tell them how much it is worth

)
I asked Autoworld if they were taking the ****, but they were just as shocked as me - they told me to sit down before they told me the price.
Apparently (and a check on eper confirms) the part is complete with main positive cable - the clamp is not separate.
I haev looked at my wife's punto, and the terminal is the same, just with 2 screw on cables, where the 166 has 3 screw ons. Yes, you do get screwed more by Alfa

, but it gives ideas if you are near a fiat breakers.
Halfords have a few battery terminal connectors - they would be a 'make-do' part, but better than £100+, I haven't yet looked hard enough to find a pattern part, although I reckon a small piece of aluminium (say 7cm x3cm) could be cut and bent into a perfectly suitable connector.
Just a thought - put a halfords connector around the remnants of the alfa connector
