Transform your 166 for £175....

After fitting new front tyres on my 166 I find the transformation mind blowing.
No I don't mean on the limit handling or more feel of whats going on under the front wheels.
It's the noise levels which are so quiet now the Goodyears have come off.
Total transformation making the car more of a pleasure than it was before.
I really do love my Alfa!

Re: Transform your 166 for £175....

A brand I have never heard of which I was told was Avon.
When I paid the bill I noticed Cooper tyres were fitted which are apparently part of the Avon company.
I played hell and said I wanted Avons but had to dash and pick the kids up.
When I returned I was so impressed I paid the bill and left the Coopers on. Really quiet and transformed the car.

Good news mickey but how do they perform compared to Good Years?

My car had Good Years all around when I bought it although dodgy wear due to incorrect pressures, I changed front two to Uniroyal Rainsports - These were a bit quieter and performed well. I have just put new wheels on and went for a set of Good Years again - Maybe a tad noisy but great all rounder, performed very well on Friday when I drove from Dover to Central Scotland in constant rain with drenched roads!
