How low is the air intake?

After a friend from another forum snapped conrods in his 147GTA in the last floods, how low is the air intake on the 166? I don't fancy a lunched engine.

Pretty low on a 147, unless it's a modified raised free-flow one that's fitted: Don't know about the 166. Have a look at the air box/filter assembly?:

I did consider that but it's p***ing it down out there and i thought i'd see if anyone knew.
