Head light smashed

I have just noticed that one of the head lights is smashed on my car , do I have to replace the whole thing or can I just change the glass?

whole thing i'm afraid....glass isn't available on its own. Fingers crossed it's a non-xenon light....

Have a gander on ebay. I picked up a rear light cluster for 99p (+£2 postage). There's some bargains out there to be had.

Thanks niallmoran, I don't know if it's a non-xenon light (what ever that is) I will have to look it up and find out. Thanks again for your help

I missed an ebay bid on a 166 headlight assembly... Bidding ended wednesday and I was away in Italy.

Maybe we'll end up bidding against each other?!?!?

I never saw that you could be right about us bidding against each other

err, which side? There was a driver's side one in the AO classified section the other day.

I saw that one, but didn't want to spend that much on one if I could help it, I'm hoping to get a second hand one if I can.

The Xenon lamps were optional fitment and are much brighter with a distinctive blue-coloured light. The standard lamps are a warmer colour and have a normal Halogen bulb.

I have a front right headlight for sale that is missing the cable/connector into the main beam and side light. So if you want a right one and still have your cables you could splice them on. I had to pay €300 for a new one!

How easy was it to fit? as i have managed to poke the glass on mine and so have one arriving from ebay, but any tips on fitting it?

Tico - contact Alfaman Alfaman Services Limited They dismantle late alfas and have a huge amount of second hand parts - I bought a rear 156 light cluster for £10 from them - good price.
