Help Losing power!!

I bought a 1991 164 Clover recently. At first the car wasn't running properly but now it has new battery, rotar arm, dizzy and leads. In a straight line the car is fine but when I accelerate round a bend the car loses power and I can't work out why.Help??

Re: Losing power!!

Does it matter what hand of bend it is? Also, does it matter how long? i.e. will it happen very suddenly - like a lane change, or do you need to be hald way round a roundabout?

Try a "wiggle" test with the car idling on every wire and connector you can find and see if the engine falters / hesitates when you wiggle any particular one.
