Cry Like A Baby 166 CD Player won't eject caddy !

Okay my CD player won't eject my caddy.
I took it out, took it apart and got it out.
Reassembled but the same is happening again, can't see anything broken or missing.

Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?

Cheers in advance

cheers Niall, I couldn't see any missing springs. I'll open her up again and maybe post some pics for comparison.

Re: 166 CD Player won't eject caddy !

Found the switch which pushes a plastic bar out that pushes a metal bar to unlock the hold on the Caddy. It seems the switch is broken . Agggrrerr
So one option is to breack off the metal bar, but worried that the cd caddy won't be held in place of course then...
Will post pics tomorrow

the mechanism is the same but you'll need to swap the control circuits....
