Hmmm Offset and Alloys?

I note that some alloys for the 166 have an offset of 35
e.g.

Whereas the Zender Sienas are 30?

Which is right for a 3ltr 166?

Thanks

Re: Offset and Alloys?

Offset (ET) is 41 for a 166.

Re: Offset and Alloys?

Do not mess too much with the offset. 5 mm per side is IMHO the limit. A wider track might gain you some stability, but in effect a hardened steering and increased wear on bearings. Not to mention problems with clearance from fenders and inner wheel arches

Re: Offset and Alloys?

I am puzzled now.
I understand the 3.0 has a different offset to the 2.0 and 2.5.
But when I look at alloys to buy some have different "offsets", none have 41 that I have come across.....
Anyone here changed their alloys on their 3.0 166 that can help?
Thanks
