Happy 2007 everyone.
My other post seemed to be getting a bit lost, so I am starting a new one in the hope that it will catch someone's attention who can advise before I potentially cause damage.
I have something rattling loose, like a screw or piece of plastic inside my steering wheel ( airbag version ). I am aware of the hazards of playing with things that can move my nose to the other side of the cabin, but I would like to simply remove the cover and retrieve said item that is irritating me every time I turn the wheel. I think that it probably just pulls off as I can't see any screws in the two holes at the back of the wheel. They appear to be nothing more than holes.
Is this the case? Has anyone taken one of these apart before? Won't touch the dangerous bits - promise!
