Since I acquired my car with little over 30,000m on the clock, the clutch starts to creak and requires lubrication every 2/3months or so. I have been told by the garage that it is something to do with the nylon used in the pedals (apparently as a safety feature so they break away easily in the event of a crash and do not injure your feet)?? Anyone know anything about this or had a similar problem? It doesn't bother me hugely as I am a frequent visitor to my local garage

and they always sort it without charge, but it would be great if there was a permanent solution. Most of my mileage is in the city and in traffic jams which probably doesn't help.
