New Spark Plugs

I've aquired some new spark plugs (great deal off ebay) for my TS.

And now I need to fit them.

I'd be grateful of any tips, trick, does, don'ts before I get stuck in on Friday?

Does anyone know the gap for the smaller plug?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dan

Re: New Spark Plugs

what type are they..NGK ? if so they will come already pre-gapped, if that makes sense....will just need a torque wrench to make sure they are probably installed...

Re: New Spark Plugs

yup - it's dead easy...plastic cover off, then the coil packs/plug leads and undo the plugs then replace - shouldn't take you more than half an hour, even if your a complete klutz like me

Re: New Spark Plugs

Are you sure they dont need setting?

I can see why they double prong ones dont - but what about the single prong ones?

Cheers

Re: New Spark Plugs

Definately check them because spark plugs can be used by a range of different models.

When screwing back be careful not to cross thread - haynes recommends using a piece of hose which will slip rather than damaging the thread.
