Fault codes

Hi engine check light is on.

The code reader that I have bought from China isn't here yet so:

Got it read and the codes are 117 and 118. The light has come back on after about 10 miles.

Anybody tell me what is wrong?

hi, the codes you gave denote coolant temperature too low and too high, suggests either sender malfunction or poor contact, hope this helps.
