PS £48 that was from halfrods, i didnt even bother going to alfa romeo!

Go to halfords - If there is not one of the exact size then you will find one that you can trim to suit.

I got one recently for my 156 - Right width but I cut about 30% off length to make it fit. Good quality filter (coopers, I think) for 8 or 9 quid.
