Independent repairs in Maidstone area?
Hi! I'm looking for a reliable, knowledgeable repairer in the Maidstone area. If there has already been a similar post, I've overlooked it, please accept my apologies!
My new toy, '92 164 T.Spark has some minor things I'd like seen to, but I am not keen on the main dealers... Any ideas?

Iv'e found the two Alfa dealers one in Rainham (Medway Autos) and also Northgate in Canterbury to be very helpful

Re: Independent repairs in Maidstone area?
Thanks for the help. Been on holiday for a week, wanted to see how the car behaved before spending too much on it... but I think I'm hooked!

Re: Independent repairs in Maidstone area?
Hi
There is a garage just outside Headcorn called S.W. Autos who repair all makes of car, and specialise in Volvos. However he did all of his apprenticeship in a Alfa/Fiat/Lancia garage and he knows what he is talking about. Very well known and trusted in the Volvo field and often has Maseratis etc when you visit.
My brother uses him for the rally Volvo but i have had him work on my cars as well, well worth a call. He has a website under S.W. Autos and it is on your doorstep.

Re: Independent repairs in Maidstone area?
Thanks for that, might be just the man I'm looking for.
BTW, are you the man Lee164 was looking for? "Saw a nice looking 164 v6 with some interesting wheels on the A20 on Sunday afternoon was it anyone from here?"

Re: Independent repairs in Maidstone area?
Hi Ronald
No it wasn't me, Lee164 knows me from old and knows my car. I used to have a few Capri's and go to the show with him, small world.
The guy who owns S.W. Auto's name is Stuart, top man and a good garage. He even has a rolling road!
