Parking Sensors & Good Respray in Dublin?

Any Alfa owners out there who have retrofitted parking sensors and any recommendations?
I am looking to fit these before getting bumpers resprayed, ideally front and back.

As an aside I have a bugandy/metallic red 166 (1999) but I don't know the official colour , it's not the Alfa Red. Anyone out their know the official name of the colour?

Any Irish Alfa owners used a good respray shop that they would recommend in Dublin?

Thanks

Hi. Not sure if this is any use to you or not but as far as i know the exact colour should be represented by a number on the vin plate. Not sure where the vin plate is on the 166 but ill have a look at my own and get back to you. Hope this is of help.

I have been told that there is a good ICE place in Rathmines (for parking sensors) - never used them though. The sensors will mess up the look of the bumper.

I think the 166 electrics may not like parking sensors - at least I think I read something like this. However, I do believe that they were an option on some 166s so it must be possible!

Hi Redalf

Colour code/name plate can be found in the boot (left hand side, under parcel shelf).

..or for a fiver you could try a pair of small dome mirrors; fit one on the lower outside corner of each door mirror and you should be able to see the kerb/white lines and your back tyre while reversing. work well for the blind spots too, though beads of rain water on a wet night can ruin the buzz...
