No Car....1 more week!

Well it was 10 o'clock, one hour from receiving my new 166 when i took a call on my mobile.....One of the lambada sensors on the exhaust has gone! What do I do, I can still take the car but have to take it back to get the new sensor fitted or i can leave it with them til next week. I decided that If i got my grubby little hands on the car I wouldn't want to let it go, So its been delayed a week.
I decided to take advantage of this delay and take everyones advice by getting the cambelt done while its with them.
So when I get her she'll be ready to rock'n'roll.

It would be worth getting the variator done at the same time perhaps. Approx an extra £100.

that 100 is for the part..you need to add on extra bit of labour as well

my advice would be if it aint broke..dont fix it

I picked it up on Saturday morning, she goes like a dream...a real cruiser I really enjoyed the tootle back down the M6!!! The Twin Spark has a lovely sound especially when revved a bit. I am really happy with the whole car. Drove into work this morning and checked the trip computer, average consumption of 32mpg (Very happy, considering i was making the most of quiet motorway!). I think i've found a car i'm gonna keep a while!
All i need to do now is work out the best way to fit my ipod and find out what phone i need for the siemens car kit thats already been fitted, Think i need a S35. M35 or C35? Gonna get a cheap one off ebay to try.

OK, its a M35, grey, works fine, needs a sim, and I have the power lead, and might have the instructions somewhere.

PM me if you want it - I reckon it will only cost a couple of quid to get a jiffy bag & post it.
