166 v6 advice

Hi everyone,

I've decided that you only live once and I'm going to replace my diesel 406 with a 166 v6 . I'm looking to pick one up on ebay for around 2-2.5k so I'm looking at a really early one (1999) with say 80-100k on the clock. What should I look out for in particular?

what are the big costs with these vehicles wrt repairs? What are the common faults and costs to repair?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

Check out this thread:

It is well worth getting all the belts done. Check suspension, airflow meter etc. A recent MOT (NCT) is a good start!
