alfa 166 ics code

Hello

I have also a problem with G3 ics code on my 166 2.5 V6 year 2001.

I copied the codes (4 digit and 3 digit) from internal setings (CLIMA+DARK), and 4 digit code for ics is OK, but 3 digit for navi is not, because it wants 4 digit.

I wonder if somebody checked codes in ICS with original codes which come with car, am i missing something?

Problem solved.

As i said i was missing one digit in nav code, so i played with it during the day and guess what.
I put 0 in front of my 3 digit code and it worked.

So no dismantling of ics for me, but i was close because i changed both handbake cabels and i had to dismantle whole middle console.

i HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BOUGHT THE CAR THIS YEAR AND IT'S A2000 HAD THE CAM BELT DONE AND THE GARAGE DISSCONNECTED THE BATTERY!!!!! I HAD NO CODES A LOCAL ***** GARAGE COULD SUPPLY THE ICS,WHEEL LOCKING NUT, IMMOBILISER AND KEY TRANSMITTER CODE FOR THE KEY BUT COULD NOT GET THE SAT NAV CODE AND TOLD ME YOU COULD NOT GET IT!!! I TRIED ANOTHER DEALER AND THEY GOT THE CODE HOWEVER IT DOES NOT WORK!!!! AND THEY ARE TRYING AGAIN. oohhHH YOU WONDERFUL ITALIANS YOU MAKE BEAUTIFUL CARS.......BUT....LOL.....
WHY DOES THE SAT NAV CODE HAVE TO BE DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!

i finally got the code from my local alfa dealer and now everything works perfect. i just wanted to thank everyone for all the help and the time spent with my problem. thx again
