Eibach Springs

Has anyone fitted these?

My brother-in-law gave me some almost new springs:

EW1022002HA
EW1022101VA

He removed them from his 3.0 166 - he didn't like the ride.

They're just sitting in my garage - and I'm tempted to fit them!

Cheers,

Dan

Re: Eibach Springs

I have spax springs and new shocks on mine and fully polybushed - the ride is very harsh and choppy on country lanes, but get it on smooth fast twisties and the car stays flat with loads more feel.
recommend you change shocks as well to get the full benefit (and while its all in pieces you ought to polybush it as well!)

Re: Eibach Springs

I have Eibach on my 2,4JTD (1999) The ride is initialy very soft and the goes sudenly hard when the progressive part closes up.
This lead to a bit of a "boaty" fealing if the roads are not totaly smoth or you are going at it full hog.

When going around the corners at 10/10 they work well, but are a bit chrashy if you have 17" or 18" rims.

I will probably be replacing mine with TI or Super springs
