Stainless steel sports exhaust

Evening Gents, on Thursday / Friday i had a 2 1/2 inch system made and fitted which comprises of 2 x down pipes, 2 x flexis, 3 x silencers and a larger oval tail piece, all made in stainless steel. I'm undecided if the system is too quiet (especialy after having a blowing exhaust for the last fortnight!). The guy charged £440 to supply and fit and did a really tidy job. He took some photo's which he's going to send to me which i can post if anyones interested. Oh, and he forgot to re fit the cat!

3 silencers means quieter, I personally would have gone with 2. If he has forgotten to refit cat then he will have to remake that part of system to fit it back on again! The cat on the 24v 164 is very good, does not rob much power at all.

2.5" is pretty big, I went for 2.25" free flow stainless and it sounds as loud as I would want it, but damn it sounds good.

After one week of having the new exhaust fitted, i must say i'm delighted. I think it's as loud as i'll get away with in town, and the note is lovely. Just can't stop blipping the go pedal!
