Cleaning /polishing

Time to clean the old girl. I intend to use a car shampoo, then a wax then a glaze is this suitable. I do not want to end up as some people do with the present glaze peeling off.

Just don't jet wash and you'll be fine.

Thumbs Up Re: Cleaning /polishing

Hi there. You should try the Meguiars 3-step crystal system. You need to buy the paint cleaner, polish and wax separately, but they're not too expensive (about UK£7.99 each), easy to find (Halford now sell them) and provide a brilliant finish. If you use these twice a year, as long as you regularly shampoo the car, you'll get a great long-term finish and a product that will probably out-live the car!!!

because it gets underneath the laquer. It also undermines weakspots such as the bonnet area where stones/ debris may have weakened the laquer or paint job. You may find that the higher pressure hoses may just lift off these weak areas

If your car was a dark colour such as Black or Red,
then I could tell you how to make your car's paint look like this...but it is not cheap to do so
