Giorgio Armani - Alfa 166 owner

Did anyone read in this weekend's Times that fashion guru Giorgio Armani drives an Alfa 166. And I quote:

A man who is famous for his fastidiousness, and can spend up to 15 minutes choosing a pen to sign an autograph, naturally picks his cars with care. “The choice of car should reflect the type of person you are. A perfect fit, just like an accessory or item of clothing, can highlight and accentuate your persona. That could be anything from a flashy aesthetic to something more conservative.”

Armani’s own style is unreservedly elegant. In his garage he has a Bentley Turbo R, a Jaguar S-type and an Alfa Romeo 166. “I always choose quality and style over short-term trends which do nothing for the individual. I believe in style over fashion fads. Elegance is always a winning element. It is something that never goes out of style and always looks right.”

Just shows we must have chosen right in buying a 166! Keep the faith I say and don't follow the crowd into the world of the 3 series BMW!
