Zender Super - new project

Well, i've gone and done it - it's taken 6 months of looking but i've bought Mista's (or Oli's) Zender Super as i got fed up waiting for the right Super Lusso and Mista's car ticked pretty much all the boxes. Nice guy, spent his money on getting it in good mechanical order (GTA clutch/flywheel, cambelt and s/steel exhaust), proteo red, low mileage and so a perfect candidate for my plans.

Plans -
1. Remove Zender kit and sell it on - not really my taste and too many speed humps! So just taking this off this week-end. Looking to list this on ebay by next week-end so could do with some guidance as to value. This is going to have to fund quite a few other changes. Kit is in used condition (as i assume they all must be) worst part is a big split on one side of the front corner but i'll be sorting out a plastic repair for this at the weekend so should make it 100% - may list it wth the split to start with in case the new owner wants it in Proteo red as it could be done in a way to save the paint.

2. 17" alloys - really needs these so keen to hear from anyone with a good set - especially if they have good tyres. But otherwise this can wait for the right set at the right price. Current diamond cut 16" are nice and will be used for Winter tyres in the long run.

3. Stainless Exhaust - Mista fitted a new cat back system by CKS with no centre silencer (this is the car on YouTube - CKS Performance Alfa 166 Exhaust System - YouTube). The standard set up is a bit too quite but may be this set-up is just too loud for me - so may well list the whole system and use it to fund a standard IMASAF set up. Not 100% yet, that sound is addictive but think the novelty will wear off as this will be a daily driver - might see how much to get CKS to fit a centre box.

4. LPG - just starting to sort out which system to fit. Think i'm going to have to go DIY for the basic installation and then get a pro to connect it up and set it up/certify it. I've got my current daily driver on LPG may transfer over that system or sell it with the volvo and buy a new set up - i'll set up a thread and keep it updated.

5.Interior - ok, it doesn't have sat nav or phone but i hindsight i think i'll do better with a more modern solution. Needs a new gear knob (but hardly urgent) but think i'm going Momo rather than the extortionate genuine replacement cost.

I'll get some photos up soon.

Nice one!

Don't take the zender off, you'll find you'll need to respray the boot and bumpers.

Great buy tho, just stick some money into and and it will be a great project!

You will also need the original black side skirts with the chrome trim, I have kept mine so if you need some?

No the Zender just isn't the look for me - it's either a must have or prefer not! I can see how you'd want it if you want the ultimate 166, but i'd rather put the money from the Zender into the wheels and exhaust.

I'm happy enough to pick up a a couple of replacement bumpers in proteo red at a later stage, they seem cheap enough - and i really like the look of the standard car.

So what do you think of a value for ebay?

Well i'll definitely need some pretty soon - so that would be great, but i'm guessing the courier costs from where you are will make them too expensive - How much were you after?

I'm assuming they're one of the least likely to be sold spares on any 166 so i was hoping to pick them in the south east locally and ideally salvage enough of the clips to save me having to buy those too.
