164 wiring diagram

Hi all.

I'm in the middle of striping the wiring from my alfa 164 3.0 V6 cloverleaf to reduce it to just the very basics.

The reason for this is due to me fitting the engine into my kitcar and don't require the other 40 kg of wire.

Starting to get a little complecated and decided a lttle help from the wiring diagram would be handy.

Does anyone have a diagram for the above model, or will the wiring be similar in a lot of the models ?

If all else fails, can someone just list me the colour codes for the following bits :

front lights / indicators
rear lights / fog lights
reversing light
rear indicators
fuel pump fuel tank senders
any and all help very welcome

Ah - I'm looking for the same thing - a 3l V6 into a buggy - also, any info on the second computer that seems to drive the gearbox.

I don't suppose anyone's done a CD of the manuals like we've got for the 145?

I've found enough for my purposes - well the engine runs :-)

Not easy as it seems Alfa had different wiring systems in the USA and Europe - and a lot of the help/info is for the US version...

is the best by far .

Basicaly we needed all the earths sorted, then the big power feed (two ring terminals together to positive. - that much is obvious...

Then feeds to the pink wire on the grey rectangular 8 pin connector (only 7 pins used) and the green/black wire. (Pink and white would go back to the alfa fuel pump if you were using it - we aren't) The starter is the central pin (black wire) in the big round multiplug.

Hopefully from that you can reduce the wiring loom enough to make it work. We found things like ABS could be separated fairly easily - they're in different looms.

if anyone happens to come across a copy on Cd and fancies making a backup copy, i could do with borrowing it for an unlimited amount of time
