What about the green one? Is that the same one that was being sold by a trader in Surrey that was bought by an AOer from oop North who got it home and then decided it wasn't for them, a case of nice car wrong time for them?

I seem to remember that one having a bodywork scuff, and the green one on there at the moment says it had a bodywork blemish fixed.

Perhaps I'm just confusing them because they're green V6s?

Thank you.

It looks very nice. I checked that green one on Pistonheads as I wondered since my last post if that was the one I was thinking of. I even checked my Hotmail to leaf through my ebay Emails to see if it was one a trader was selling in South Wales last year but that was a 2.5 and a V reg.

That's a nice colour. I was perving a Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo that colour outside the venue of my speed awareness course a few weeks ago, and since then I've seen an oncoming Coupe that colour as I've been driving in the opposite direction and thought 'Yum, Fiat Coupe' and then noticed the attractive woman driving it too.

no not really.....

I have been watching 3 166's and they have been sat on car lots for about 4 months each, dealers can't shift them.

The prices start high and then they get reduced to their real value, dealers always bump the prices in the hope of selling the 'luxury' part of the Alfa brand to punters

Jay do you not mean in place of punter a person who doesn't know his onions and is a mug who gets easily ripped off.

Yep overpriced ones do sit a long long time..thone S reg is still sitting with the same pic.

But the recent facelifts have bucked the trend.
I wonder who has then now.

Crikey JayW, when I saw your ID against this thread I thought you were going to say you'd bought that green beauty.

It really spoils all the fun when cars get pulled early from eBay.

I've heard tales of woe from 2 164 owners years ago about the grief they had trying to sell or part ex their cars, but then people say that about the dealers of other brands too.

I think the prices of a few cars seem to have firmed up since the brown smelly stuff was really hitting the fan when the bubble finally burst, but not 166s.

I used to have Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo, colour was "Scotts Green", as nice dark, deep metallic shade. Loved that car, 4 leather momo seats, 5 cylinders and 220BHP Baby ferrari and set me on my current path.
