Hello all

,
Sorry I have not posted until now, but after a brilliant drive home from Surrey to Gateshead on Saturday

, just getting to know my 'new' baby; I had a few incidentals to catch up on like family, extending the drive so we can park the 3.0 Litre 166 Super (how good does that sound) the 156 twinny and the 2.5 Litre Ford Probe (soon to be up for sale), just to keep the neighbours in my cul-de-sac happy. So anyhow 6am train Newcastle to Kingscross, tube to Waterloo and then train to Witley in Surrey arriving at 11.09am, met the trader, looked over the Super, tried to keep my excitment under wraps; then the test drive back to his house, did the deal and left at 12.30pm and back home by 5.30pm with a half hour stop for coffee and a sandwich 320 miles in 4.5 hours about 71 miles per hour average not bad I suppose considering the M25, M1, A1M. I loved every minute of it even the confusion of getting the Cruise Control working and playing with the ICS. I will let you all know how I get on with her over the knext few days, but so far

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me and when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
