Alfa 166 geabox issues Wiring diagram please!!

Hey Guys,

You may have seen my 166 3.0 Sportronic on the for sale (spares or repair) forum. As explained on there i had mechanical failure of the gearbox and bought a second hand low mileage gearbox from a car which had a snapped cambelt. Fitted the box and worked fine for a short road test but now the gearbox warning light comes on and the car jumps as drive and reverse is selected. I am struggling to sell the car or any of the major parts so have decided i should fix it and get it re-MOT'd.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the sportronic gearbox for a 02 3.0 V6?? Or if there are any people out there that would lend a very Honest ex Alfa technician an ECU to try on the car.

The Gearbox in the Sportronic is a ZF 4 HP 20 and i have the manual for it from Citroen, which has all the diagrams you would ever need. PM me your email address and i will email it to you..

the wiring diagram is probably worth more than the 166....save ur money and take a weekend break in margate...you know it makes sense....
