How easy to fix the back light of an ICS

I'm looking at buying an ICS (just as a spare I want to try to do some of this tape deck soildering with out destroying my own unit!)

There is a very cheep one with a code but the back light is broken. How can this be fixed?

Cheers Stuart

Hi stu
i went into this a while back and don't think that it can be done there is a very thin lamp that goes round the actual screen and I couldn't find anyone that would just supply the lamp only the whole screen which was about £150 ended up buying a second hand ICS for about £100

Buying a spare ICS that needs a Spare ICS to get it to work desen't make much sense.
