Another MAF question

Guys [ and girls], sorry to drag on about maf issues again [ it must be the most talked about issue on this forum.
I need a MAF for my car and the V6 maf is non existent in Lebanon at the moment. So I need to know of any place or website that can dispatch it [ fedex or dhl ] to Lebanon at a reasonable price..
I am fed up of driving an underpowered car where 1.6L can overtake you easily [ uphill]..
Any offers appreciated..But no chinese nonsense that lasts a couple of weeks...A genuine Bosch would be nice at an affordable price

Re: Another MAF question

If you can acquire a 2L maf All you need to do is take it out of the housing and put it in your 3L housing

Is it dusty over there? Do you need to change your air filter regularly?

Cheers Stuart

Re: Another MAF question

Are u sure the 2.0 works for the 3.0 ? I tried a 2.5 maf from a 156 and the car stalled completely..I have been told to fit the one with exactly the same bosch number..? any light to be shed on the matter ? As for dust , Stu , it is not dusty here as we have no sand , just too damn hot at the moment..38C today...I clean my filter once or twice a year.........but we have to clean our cars weekly to keep the brake dust away..or at least I have to do it!!!!!!!

Re: Another MAF question

It think there are allot of us with running 2L maf's in V6's

I am and I think it works fine (alot better than my old maf)

I checked for differences when I swapped them I could not see any.
